This film is based on the shocking true story of Kingsley Ofusu. Had he not survived, we would have never known about the atrocities committed aboard the McRuby. I think I first saw this film on TV in 1999, and it has been burned in my memory ever since. The fact that human beings can behave like savages to one another makes me want to weep. I sincerely pray for these martyrs who died for their dreams.
